O·M·I Orthodontics Pricing: What Each Treatment Tier Costs

O·M·I Orthodontics Pricing: What Each Treatment Tier Costs

Orthodontic treatment at O·M·I Orthodontics costs between $1,750 and $8,190. Where you land depends on which of three tiers your case falls into: Minor ($1,750–$3,290), Cosmetic ($3,730–$5,480) or Comprehensive ($4,920–$8,190). Dr. Johnson confirms your tier and your exact fee at a complimentary consultation.

We publish these ranges because guessing at the price of a new smile is stressful. This post puts the full fee table in plain text, explains what each tier covers, and shows how insurance and 0% financing bring the amount you actually pay each month down.

How Much Does Each Treatment Tier Cost?

Every case at our Fort Wayne, Auburn and Fishers offices is grouped into one of three tiers. Each tier comes with a fee range, a typical treatment length and an expected number of office visits:

Tier Fee range Treatment time Office visits Designed for
Minor $1,750 – $3,290 4–6 months 3 A quick and easy smile fix
Cosmetic $3,730 – $5,480 9–12 months 6 Straightening things up for a confident smile
Comprehensive $4,920 – $8,190 24–36 months 10 Solving complex bite concerns

The same figures appear in the graphic on our pricing page. This table is simply the text version, so you can read it on any screen, and search engines can read it too.

What Comes With Every Tier?

The fee range covers more than the braces or aligners themselves. Whichever tier your case falls into, every patient receives:

  • An evaluation
  • 3D X-rays
  • A digital scan of your teeth
  • A custom treatment plan
  • Access to online tutorials
  • A financial concierge to help with payments and paperwork
  • One set of retainers

That list matters when you compare quotes from different offices. If one quote leaves out imaging or retainers, it isn’t a like-for-like comparison. Retainers are the item people most often forget to budget for. They are what holds your teeth in place after treatment, which is why we include your first set. Our page on retainers and post-treatment care explains how they protect your result.

Which Tier Will My Case Fall Into?

The tiers follow how much your smile needs to change, which also sets how long treatment takes and how often you come in.

The Minor tier is for a quick and easy smile fix. These shorter cases usually take four to six months and about three office visits. They are often a good fit for a patient bothered by one small issue in an otherwise healthy bite.

The Cosmetic tier is for straightening things up so you can smile with confidence. Plans in this tier typically run nine to twelve months with around six visits. It suits patients whose main goal is how their teeth look when they smile.

The Comprehensive tier is for complex bite concerns, where the way your upper and lower teeth meet needs correcting, not just the alignment you see in the mirror. These plans run 24 to 36 months with about ten visits. If you’re unsure what bite correction involves, our earlier post on what affects the cost of braces in Fort Wayne walks through the factors that move a case up or down.

You don’t need to work out your tier on your own. At the consultation, Dr. Johnson examines your teeth and bite, reviews your imaging, and tells you which tier fits and why.

Why Do the Cosmetic and Comprehensive Ranges Overlap?

You may notice that the top of the Cosmetic range ($5,480) is higher than the bottom of the Comprehensive range ($4,920). That’s on purpose. A tier describes the kind of treatment your case needs, not a fixed price. Each range is wide because no two mouths are the same, and your exact fee depends on your individual needs and treatment plan.

In practice, the tier tells you roughly how long treatment takes and how many visits to expect. The fee within that range is the figure you receive in writing at your consultation, before you agree to anything.

How Do Insurance and Financing Lower What You Pay?

The table shows the full fee. Most families pay it in smaller pieces, and many have help from insurance.

Insurance. We work with all insurance companies and offer a complimentary benefits check so you know exactly what your plan provides. Orthodontic coverage usually comes as a lifetime maximum, a one-time benefit rather than a yearly allowance, and it can carry waiting periods or age limits. Our team verifies your benefits before treatment begins, helps with claims and paperwork, and can coordinate benefits if you have more than one policy. Being out of network doesn’t automatically rule out coverage. Read more about how we handle orthodontic insurance.

Payment options. We accept HSA cards, cash, check and debit/credit cards, and we offer 0% financing options. For patients without orthodontic coverage, interest-free payment plans can spread the remaining balance across the length of treatment. That’s one reason a longer Comprehensive plan can be more manageable month to month than its total suggests. See our financing options for details, or our guide on how orthodontic payment plans work for a step-by-step walkthrough.
